Summer Skort and Clear Clutch

Hello Everyone,

Today I have ANOTHER fashion post for you I'm really sorry there will be a make-up post soon or a tag trust me I'm working on it. This is a pretty outfit to wear on a night out in the summer time as it reveals a bit of skin (you cant show your chest and legs because that's to much skin, you need to show one or the other to get peoples heads turning) this outfit shows a lot of leg so it will look amazing with a tan.

Blue Floral Trousers

Hello Everyone,

Today I have a spring casual post for you, it involves some funky trousers which are definitely on trend right now and a cute peplum top. I have gone very low key on the accessorise as the patterned trousers couldn't be to much for some people.

The black extras match the trousers very well as it brings the black out in them, the sole of the shoe bring the white out as well. Adding a simple necklace works better when you have lots of pattern going on other wise it could be pattern overload. This is just a casual summer outfit to throw on whilst in a hurry or it can be dressed up with some heels and a clutch bag.

Blue and White Casual for Spring

Hello Everyone,

Today I have a really pretty girly spring/summer outfit for you, it involves a lot of white so if you feel the whites to much you could add some more colour.

I love this outfit for a sunny spring day when you want to look clean and crisp, this is the perfect outfit to keep you cool as the items are quite loose apart from the jeans which are thin. These shoes are very on trend right now and you can also find alternatives on Asos ( they sell a leather version which are extremely comfortable). you also cant go wrong with a big bag to carry all the necessities.

Would You Rather Beauty Addition Tag

Hello Everyone,

As I mentioned in my last post I was thinking about doing some tag posts for you, so as you can tell my the title this is the 'Would You Rather Beauty Addition Tag' I'm going to jump straight in because its a long one- hope you enjoy.

 

Q. Would you rather go out with messy hair and perfect make up or nice hair and no make up?

A. I would go for messy hair and perfect make up only because I look like I have no eyebrows and I have some under the skin spots on my forehead.

 

Q. Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?

A. I would 100% prefer no eyebrows to no eyelashes because you can draw them on and if you shave them they will grow back.

 

Q. Would you rather be forced to shop at only mac or Sephora for the rest of your life?

A. Living in the UK there is no Sephora and lots of mac shops but I choose Sephora because they have there own brand which is cheaper than the other things they sell and also really good quality ( I have been to Sephora when visited America)

 

Q. Would you rather wear lip-gloss/ lip liner look or 80's perm?

A. I love my straight hair so I choose lip-gloss/ lip liner.

 

Q. Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?

A. 100% overdone blush- I have made this mistake many times but foundation is harder to blend than blush.

 

Q. Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?

A. I can honestly say I don't know what type of biker shorts the person who made this tag means- like cycling shorts?? but probably MC Hammer pants as baggy trousers are in at the minute and I think I could work them haha.

 

Q. Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird sun tan lines that cant be covered?

A. weird sun tan lines that cant be covered as people would know you have been on holiday or been sunbathing.

 

Q. Would you rather a bad haircut or a bad hair colour?

A. I would hate both as I love my locks but as I have to choose I'd say hair colour because you could dye it again.

 

Q. Would you rather have YouTube or twitter taken away forever?

A. I'd say twitter I'm obsessed with YouTube and if it got taken away from me I think I would cry for months.

 

Q. Would you rather give up using make up brushes or mascara?

A. I love my lashes and I'm all for good mascaras but I'd give it up because there's so many amazing lashes, plus I don't like the idea of using my fingers on my face I feel like it wastes the product.

Bright Yellow

Hello Everyone,

Sorry for not posting in a very long time I've been revising and all sorts, but today I'm back with a Spring/Summer inspired look for you its only a short post but I hope you enjoy- links under the outfit as always.

This outfit is perfect for a hot day in spring or for them days in the summer when you want to look like you have made more effort. The top is the brightest prettiest colour for this time of year and the colour of the shoes contrasts well, the yellow is picked up in the sole and the lining of the shoe. The gold jewellery adds some shine to this outfit is good if your somebody who likes accessories.

Pop of Colour

Hello Everyone,

Today I have an outfit post for you, I always see staple black pieces like dresses, playsuits and jumpsuits so today I thought I would create a few outfits involving these pieces but add something to them to my your outfit stand out a little.

I'm in love this outfit! everything is so classic and black but adding a pop of colour with the necklace just changes the whole outfit. You could add another pop of colour by adding some shoes to bring out some of the brightness of the necklace.

This outfit is perfect if you want to look very put together, the colour of the shoe, bag and necklace is very spring and pretty. The dress would be great if you like to cover the tops of your arms and don't want to reveal cleavage.

I love the girly feel to this outfit with the pretty spring blue colour and the flower necklace. These shoes are definitely on trend at the minute and go perfectly with the jumpsuit. adding little bits of colour is perfect for this time of the year.

Products I Regret Buying

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm doing my first products I regret buying post. I've seen a few of these videos flying around on YouTube so I thought I'd make it into a blog post. I hope you enjoy and I'd love to know some products you regret buying so leave me a comment below.

 

The Products:

 

 

First we have Maybelline Falsies Mascara Black Drama I really don't like this mascara at all. The wand has hairs which means they get stuck to each other and makes the product extremely thick and clumpy to apply to the lashes. This mascara once on the lashes takes a very long time to dry  as it applies heavily.

 

 

Second on the left we have L'Oreal True Match Liquid Foundation Natural Ivory  the consistency of this foundation is awful, its very runny to pump onto the back of your hand but once put onto the face and blended it its very dry but still shiny on the skin. this foundation wouldn't be right for dry skin as I had dry patches on my forehead when trying this product and it stuck to them and made my face look like the foundation hadn't been applied properly.

 

 

Next we have the Herbal Essences Shampoo Hello Hydration and the Herbal Essences Conditioner Hello Hydration I hated this shampoo and conditioner as they left my hair (once dried) feeling very sticky and very dry and it lacked shine where as my hair has a natural shine to it.

Finally the got2b Sexy collagen Lift Effect Hairspray this product also left my hair sticky but also extremely crispy, although it has the best smell of any hairspray's I've tried.

Perfect Spring T-Shirt

Hello everyone,

Today I have some perfect spring t-shirts for you. The weathers getting warmer which means the spring wardrobe is coming out.

 

Tops:

 

 

Orange Top

This colour is perfect for spring and summer as its bright and would look great with a tan. You could wear it with shorts, leggings or jeans so it’s a perfect all rounder. This tops pattern is spot on for the time of the year as all the flowers are blooming and it has a very girly feel to it.

peach ruffles

I love the top! Its such an amazing top that would suit so many skin tones.  The ruffles are perfect for spring and summer as they give a light feel to the t-shirt.

 

 Pretty Patterned

Light, floaty, pastels, and patterns what more could you ask for. This top would be perfect if your scared of wearing colours that are to bright and you don’t want to wear crop tops for spring and summer. This pattern is girly and fun.

All these tops can be wore for either work or on a casual day with jeans or skirts. the perfect spring t-shirts in my opinion.

Review: Liz Earle 'Try-me Kit'

Hello Everyone,

Recently I have been suffering with skin problems,dry patches with acne, under the skin spots and all sorts, I thought it was time to do something about my skin and tackle the problem head on. Whilst I was shopping the other weekend I went into Boots which is one of the biggest drug stores in the UK and see what I could find on the higher end make-up/ beauty counters, I came across Liz Earle and as I've never tried these products before and heard so many great things about them on YouTube and other peoples blogs I wanted to give them a go. I spoke to the lady who helped me pick out this starter kit which includes:

Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

Instant Boost Skin Tonic

Skin Repair Moisturiser in Normal/Combination

Brightening treatment mask

2 Pure Muslin Cloths

(I actually cant find this starter kit on any websites but if you go to http://uk.lizearle.com/ and type into the search bar ‘try-me kit’ all the others come up.)

I have been using this for 1 ½ weeks now and I can already see this difference it’s a miracle product and I would defiantly recommend this to anyone with problem skin as they come in combinations and they will have something for whatever skin type you have.

Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Today I have a bit of a different post for you I have some gift ideas for mothers day if you hadn't of already guessed by the title, if you don't celebrate mothers day then I'm sorry for a boring post but this could also be helpful to people if you have someone's birthday coming up and you don't know what to buy them.

 

The Gifts:

 

 Dressing Gown

Dressing Gowns, pyjamas, and slippers are all the perfect items for mothers day. The perfect way to get someone to relax, nothing beats a PJ day! These are also things that are always used.

 

Necklace

Jewellery is the perfect gift you could buy any type of jewels but it all looks amazing and you will always find something in your price range. jewellery is such a special gift to receive as it means more when somebody has thought about the gift and what the person receiving likes.

 

Chocolates

This isn't a gift that requires much thought unless you buy the receiving parties favourite. You can't really go wrong with a good old box of choc's. They are a nice way to indulge and to be spoilt on a special day as you don't really buy yourself a nice box of chocolates. 

 

Candles

Perfect gift to relax and distress. There's nothing like running yourself a nice bath and lighting some candles and reading your book. the smell of this candle is so pretty and girly its perfect for this time of year.

Red and Black Outfit

Hello Everyone,

Today I have an outfit for you of which I took inspiration from a picture I found on the internet. This outfit includes red trouser and a black top and shoes. the picture I gained inspiration from has a more wintery/ colder feel to it as the model is wearing a coat, you could add this if you are living in a colder climate or the weather is a little chilly.

Here in England we have been having very good weather recently which is a nice change from the rain, so this would be perfect for a cloudier day or when the weather is good without the coat.

I love this outfit and its perfect for a meal with friends or family. I haven't added the coat to the outfit as you can find a black coat anywhere and most people have one in their wardrobes anyway. The top adds a more girly feel to this grungy outfit with the floral pattern.

 

Side Note:

I know that you could find cheaper alternatives from shops like Primark ect. for the jeans as Topshop are selling out fast and they may not deliver to your country.

Out for Lunch

Todays post is an outfit that I wore out to lunch recently. Some of the items I was unable to link because I've had them for a while but you can find similar items on the high street anyway. Its a casual outfit but I love it.

This look is casual and simple to put together. You can still find this top in most TopShop stores as its a recent item.

Today I have a lovely outfit to share with you which includes some cigarette trousers, they have been fashionable for sometime now but I still love them. you can wear them with lots of different things either dress them up or dress them down, they look amazing either way on anybody which is another thing I love about them.
